Our approach to boarding eliminates many of those add on charges.
- Whatever quantity of fescue hay that is necessary to maintain your horse in a healthy condition
- Feeding twice daily, customized to your horse’s specific needs
- Two water buckets in each stall
- Two fans in each stall
- Feed bucket provided
- Supplements added as directed (supplied by owner)
- Stalls cleaned daily
- Stalls are matted and bedded with quality pine sawdust which we find provides a warm bed in the winter and allows us to best keep each stall clean and sanitary.
- Horses turned out daily unless inclement weather
- Blanketing according to weather (owner supplies) – checked to ensure not overheating or too chilled
- Fly sheets, mandatory masks with ears, & spray in summer (supplied by owner)
- Turnout boots on & off (owner supplies)
- Horses examined each day for cuts and scrapes – will be treated (with owner supplied medication)
- Worming according to fecal egg counts (owner pays vet bill and supplies wormer)
- House farrier scheduled and horse held if you are using him
(you are welcome to use your own personal farrier) - House veterinarian – Dr. Keith Stafford with Stafford Equine Veterinary Services is the farm veterinarian. 864-303-1847 – horses will be held for shots, coggins, minor health issues if you are using Dr. Stafford (you are welcome to use your own personal vet but you will need to hold your horse)
- Veterinarian will be immediately contacted during emergency situations
- Wash rack with hot and cold water plus a heat lamp
- Tack room with utility sink and dehumidifier
- Lighted dressage arena
- Lighted all purpose arena with jumps
- Lounge with full kitchen includes microwave, stove, and full sized refrigerator with freezer
- Bathroom with shower
